Welcome to the CloudFiles AppExchange Amplified build-along. In the live session you will build a real document automation in Salesforce using three CloudFiles products: Document Management, Document AI and Document Generation.

This page gets your Salesforce org ready before the session, so the time together is spent building rather than installing. Work through it from top to bottom. It takes about an hour, and most of that is waiting for things to install.

Part 1. Sign up for a Developer Edition org

Sign up for a fresh Developer Edition org for this build, even if you already have one. A new org has nothing installed, no old automation and no leftover settings, so nothing from earlier work gets in the way. It is free. Please do not use a production org.

Step 1. Open the sign-up page in a new incognito or private window. Go to salesforce.com/products/free-trial/developer. Incognito keeps any Salesforce org you are already logged in to from getting mixed up with the new one. Do every step below in this same window.

Step 2. Fill in the form and click Sign me up. Enter your first name, last name, job title, company, country and state, and tick the box to accept the agreements. The Work email must be an inbox you can open right now, because the activation email goes there. You do not choose a username: Salesforce creates one for you and sends it in the email.

Step 3. Check your email. You land on an "Almost there" screen. The email usually arrives within a few minutes.
